Reading - Part 2

After Ava eats, I keep her in her high chair for 2-5 min. It's our way of trying to communicate that the high chair is a place for more than just eating. (what we're trying to avoid is her getting fussy on it knowing that if she fusses that someone will pull her out). I only pull her out when she is jolly. Sometimes I just let her sit there and I'll talk to her. And sometimes I will give her a toy. I had to share this one because I'm profiling her as a typical Asian baby -- studying after a meal.

We think she looks like Peter's mom in this picture.

On a more serious note, Ava does take her reading pretty seriously. The other day, I put Ava in the cot for a nap. After not hearing any noise, I peek in to check on her to find her like this.

What do you think Ava is doing? Of course she has found the tag to the bumper (the one that has info from the manufacturer and how to clean it).

So I flip her over and tuck her in again. 5 Minutes later, she's flipped back over trying to get back to the tag. (Mind you I retied it to not be on the inside of the cot anymore).
