Sleep: Ava now rolls in her sleep, can peer over the crib's rail when she's up, and twists her neck in crazy positions when sleeping. We often try to move her to a more comfortable position, but she will move back 2 seconds later.
Sometimes falling asleep isn't easy. I came home the other day and Peter & Ava werent there. Peter had strapped Ava in the carrier, put on the rain jacket, and walked around the park in the rain for about 30 min to get her to fall asleep and stay asleep. (Ava's under the coat and his hair/jacket is soaking wet).
Exploring: She now scoots, which is pre-crawling. I walked out of the room for 5 min, and came back in to find her like this. She was in the center of the quilt. She loves touching and exploring the carpet.
I love this picture because she reached up and grabbed the box and brought it to her mouth. Nothing escapes her hands and mouth! You can see the focus and determination on her face.
Every morning Peter and Ava hang out. She sits in her bumbo chair which supports her to help her sit up like a big girl. She loves dragging her toy against the carpet.
Also, no teeth yet. And she's finally sleeping thru the night!!
