So I had my first baby prep class at the hospital. Unfortunately, Peter had Day 1 of his 5 day class to attend, so I was on my own taking notes diligently. While they promoted the natural route and made the epidural/c-section out to be a horrible experience, it was quite helpful. They were talking about how to get to the hospital (position to sit in the cab and what to bring), positions to sit to help turn the baby from a breech position or relieve labor pain, the fact that we shouldnt bathe the baby daily in the beginning, etc. Since I still have not read anything, it was nice to get an overview.
So I'm at 35 weeks now and feel incredibly huge, like I've ballooned at an exponential rate in the last week. Cant believe there is 5 more to go. I'm trying to stay sitting forward and crawling around the house 5 min in the AM and PM to get her to turn. These abnormal positions have made me sore and uncomfortable. This weekend we are going to a friend's place in the country an hour outside of London. Will be nice to get away. Next weekend, Peter and I have an all day Sat & Sun baby prep class.
And, still no baby name yet. :) Will keep you posted.
Bin
