In these last 4-6 weeks, I have really noticed my body changing. It has given me a glimpse into old age. What use to take me 30-60 min to get ready now takes close to 2 hours. When I get up from a chair or bend over, I grunt. My boobs are getting bigger and feel saggy. People at the front of the bus typically get up for me and the old people to take a seat. I feel short of breath and tired. and I pee quite often. They've told me to sleep on my left side, so when I wake up the entire left side of my body feels cramped. They say you feel more "normal" post pregnancy and you do get your energy back. Will report on how that goes -- hopefully sooner than later.

Pregnant or Old?
I've been really blessed to have a wonderful pregnancy -- no morning sickness in the first trimester, quite active, little weight gain. my face & ankles started swelling a little bit in this last trimester, but nothing bad. I think being forced to eat healthy with the gestational diabetes has helped keep the weight gain low. I've been feeling quite whale-like, but after attending this weekend's baby preparation course I have come to realize I'm quite small compared to the other girls around my due date.
