week 3

We think Ava's been going thru a growth spurt, which means she doesnt want to stick to her feeding schedule (she would rather eat every hour instead of every 3-4 hours... which means we get up more often at night) and she has been a bit more fussy when she is awake.

We went to the US Embassy today to submit her paperwork for her US Citizenship, Social Security #, and Passport. We are expediting her passport so that Peter's company can process all three of our visas to stay in the UK.

She's also much more active now. We wrap her in a tight swaddle blanket when she sleeps and she's learned how to wiggle out of that (but she has no control of her hands & legs so she wakes herself up when she bags her hand against her head).

Enjoy the pictures below.
Ava's tiny frame against Peter's.

This is the weighing device the midwife comes to the house with to check her weight. She is now 3kgs / 6.6pounds.

So peaceful when she sleeps. She always has funny arm positions.

Ava's first official outing-- to church in her Sunday best.

Daddy & daughter puckering their lips together.

Sleeping with her life size teddy bear. We arent sure who is bigger.

Yes, her t-shirt says "little engineer" & its in GT colors!!
Sleeping in a pillow case.
