Ava's First Snow

It snowed here on Tues, 30 Nov. Being from GA, I bundled Ava and myself up in our 2,000 layers and set off to get some food at the grocery store (we really needed food, it wasnt that I was stocking up in case we got a storm like they do in the South!).

Sadly, we were scheduled to take a trip with Peter to the South of France for 4 days, but our original EasyJet flight and re-scheduled BA flight got canceled since the runways at Gatwick were closed. Bummer. Was the first vacation Peter's ever requested from an employer and we ended up not going anywhere. Oh, well. It was a nice relaxing much needed long weekend for us!

It will be fun to make snow angels and snowmen and go sledding with Ava when she gets older.
