America or Bust

So our big trip to America has come and gone! Ava was great on the plane, sleeping 95% of the time. The flight attendants on the first flight pampered us and gave Ava her first set of wings. The time adjustment was a bit hard for her. Poor girl -- she finally adjusted about 2 days before we turned around and came back. Pro about America is having a car & knowing everything is buggy friendly and will have a changing table. The con (well for us) is having to deal with the carseat, as poor Ava would fall asleep only to be yanked back out again. It was nice to see both sides of the family and to figure out how the trip will be next time we come. Here are some pictures.

Getting ready to leave London.
First American experience: the car seat. Not too thrilled, but chillin. She looks like Serious Sam. But really, how can you take this face seriously?

Ava's so lucky to have great-grandparents. I dont think we ever figured out what their Korean names would be.

Ava's first experience in the high chair. We had to put a pillow b/w her and the chair because she was too small and didnt know how to sit up yet.

She made several appearances in the US as a proper thumb sucker. But that is in America Ava's bag of tricks, as it has not come back since we came back to London

Back in London -- struggling to stay awake because of the jet lag!
