TV Addict

We suffer from TV addiction in our family. Peter's family didnt have a TV in the house until he was 18 years old. We joke that he is now trying to make up for lost time. I grew up in the other extreme -- we never ate a meal without the TV on. Today, I hate watching TV because I get sucked in. There are actually days I ask Peter to come in from the other room to turn the TV off because I just feel I cannot do it. Ava has developed a love for TV at a very young age. Peter jokes that "Ava doesn't mind when I channel surf." Often she is straining her neck from wherever she is to catch a glimpse. Case in point:
