"Things To Do" List

The exciting news is we have a lot going on, but inevitably it means there are always a lot of moving parts. So in this next month, we've got to:
1. Move apartments: upgrading from our 1 bed tiny place to a 2 bed - Very exciting. having to go through the actual move, settling in, transferring bill -- not so exciting.
2. Buy furniture: We are excited about upgrading to some nicer furniture, as our new place will be unfurnished. The downside is the large sum of money we'll be forking over at once and trying to coordinate deliveries since we dont have a vehicle.
3. Baby Stuff: Now that I'm in my 3rd trimester and we know we'll be in a 2 bedroom, it is time to start preparing for the baby -- equipment, hospital bag, bigger maternity clothes, etc etc.
4. Doctor Appointments -- While it will be a pain having to go into the hospital for more checkups for the gestational diabetes, it will be nice to have the opportunity to get seen by the doctor and not just a midwife.
5. UK Work Visa: Now that we know we'll be here, we've got to get all the paperwork in
6. US Taxes: Every American's joy. We were lucky Peter was in the US last March to straighten things out; we'll have to see how it goes this year.
7. UK Taxes: trying to understand this big black hole

So we've had to completely re-think my eating plan. About 5-7 small meals a day that includes a small protein, small veg/fruit, 2 small Starch/Carb. (thanks to my wonderful husband for helping me figure out that no a slice of cheese is considered a fat and not a protein and that not all granola bars are healthy). Big education & adjustment for me, but better to get use to it now than when the baby gets here.
